I pride myself on bringing objectivity, awareness and dependability to Elite Venture Media. I am an advocate to my clients, but also to my creative team of designers, developers and writers. I believe the keys to my success are: being a good listener, speaking with frankness, and the fact that I never stop caring about the work my clients entrust to me and my organization.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many rewarding design jobs. My client list includes many local names you’ll recognize: The Palace Theater, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway, WNYT, The College of St. Rose, The United Way, RPI and the New York State Senate, and many more. Having grown up in Albany, I take pride in the fact that I’m able to work with, and influence many of the local businesses I grew up with.

My goal is to make Elite Venture Media the prominent creative provider for businesses in the Capital Region. I also believe in establishing a great work environment for myself and my team. I wish to continue providing my clients with great products/services/solutions that will help and inspire them, as well as making a lasting impression in the community.

When I’m not working, I like to spend time at home with my wife and our one year old son. We have a beagle named Cooper who’s usually getting into trouble, or waiting for our son to drop his food. On the weekends we like to head up to Lake George, or take Cooper for walks in Washington Park.

My latest clients include several former Survivor cast members, reality shows, as well as online marketing pieces for major TV networks such as CBS, MTV, CMT and Oxygen. My comfort zone is a fast paced work environment. I excel at creating visually stunning media, marketing and advertising campaigns.

Starting off with closed proprietary programming languages, I became increasingly more interested in open source content management. This eventually led me to become very knowledgeable with Joomla, Magento, OsCommerce and other robust and cost-effective solutions. Lately, I do a lot of work with Myspace (earning me a Myspace Impact Award for my work with Grassroots Soccer). I also enjoy experimenting with new ideas and technologies to increase visibility for clients.

I like science fiction and fantasy and am addicted to the reality show Survivor, since a lot of my clients are on that show. I have been married for 13 years to my best friend and have 4 children that I love more than anything mentioned above.

I believe in design that complements content. At Elite Venture Media, I am responsible for the creation and execution of collateral for a variety of clients. I enjoy the challenge of creating unique styles for clients, while preserving their individual brand. I am also the manager of print production.

Previously, I worked as a successful independent graphic designer with a variety of clients. During that time, I used my creativity to produce logos, brochures, packaging, labels, illustrations, trade show graphics and marketing promotions.

While working as promotions manager for a community newspaper in Massachusetts, I established their Newspaper In Education program and produced award-winning ad campaigns as well as travel and trade shows. As a student at the Massachusetts College of Art, I worked as senior designer for Bay State Press, successfully taking designs from the electronic image to the printed page.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking along the Poestenkill.

My first big writing job came in 2005, when I was asked to supply a monthly column for the Cairo, Egypt based magazine, EGO. The column provided me the opportunity to write about many issues, from foreign policy to film reviews. I currently work as the edition designer for a local newspaper. I’m always writing about a wide range of topics, my favorite of which is blogging about the New York Yankees.

Writing for Elite Venture Media is a great opportunity. It allows me to mix two of my biggest passions in life: writing and media design. I’m able to continue doing what I love, all the while helping clients achieve their goals.

I started my programming career on Linux. Since then, I only work with Open Source and Free Sky, not Windows. Linux runs my desktop, my server and me. For a short while, I also taught at an engineering college. Then I caught the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) fever and I’ve been doing that ever since. Now I have a team of several equally fanatical guys with me, and we work around Joomla/OSC/Magento and lots of other Open Source goodies.

Besides programming, I also enjoy reading and listening to old rock music.

I work with a great team here at Elite Venture Media, that includes projects developed in Joomla, Magento, WordPress, osCommerce, Zencart, x-Cart many other CMS applications.

When I’m not working, I love to drive sophisticated cars and take some nice shots with my Canon EOS.
