Educators Serving Educators (ESE) is an innovative not-for-profit corporation that works with accredited institutions of higher education to develop and deliver online programs and courses.
ESE is the only not-for-profit corporation providing such assistance to colleges and universities. ESE also specializes in assisting institutions that serve individuals traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
Educators Serving Educators is a division of Excelsior College, one of America’s first virtual universities and a recognized leader in distance education. Since 1971, Excelsior has designed hundreds of online courses and has enabled over 130,000 adult learners to earn college degrees at a distance.
In this challenging economy, many traditional colleges and universities are struggling to find sustainable business models. One recognized solution is to offer programs online, but many institutions do not have the experience or budget to put such programs into place. They also worry about maintaining the quality of their educational programs if they move to an online environment. This is where ESE comes in.
ESE offers online course development to partner institutions, providing exceptional support and requiring no initial cash outlay from those institutions. ESE also recognizes that academic excellence is a priority and helps build programs that enhance the educational reputation of its partner institutions.
